Deus absconditus negated! Fundamentalists/evangelicals have once again uncovered God for all to see. We know how he works, how he saves, how he delivers, how he builds churches, how he provides success, how he provides for our well-being, how he answers prayer, how he speaks, how he brings us to our potential, how he gives the abundant life, etc., etc., etc. Revelation is uncovered by logic and perceived through carefully prescribed biblical principles. Paul's mystery has now been revealed in the 20-21st century evangelical church. God in all his glory is now present to us because our faith is the correct faith. Our salvation is guaranteed because it follows "what the Bible says." Heaven is no longer in question. Our correctly understood faith has saved us. We own the promises of God because we have met all the biblical requirements.

Unfortunately, the Roman Road has led us back to Rome. Sadly, in knowing all that we know we know nothing. We worship not a holy God, but a God who is emptied of all content except an extension of our own desires. We have contained him and he is ours to use as we please.
